ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING SERVICE

“Creating durable prototypes and end-use production parts
by additive manufacturing or 3D printing services”

MJF for precision, functional prototypes and production parts With HP Multi Jet Fusion technology (MJF), Baked 3D is capable of printing functioning prototypes with high detail and durability.  MJF is ideal for rapid production of low-volume applications because it allows for nesting in the z axis, meaning more parts can be printing quickly and in one session.

How Baked3D Works

The Baked 3D Multi Jet Fusion system or 3D print service, lays down a thin layer of powder on the print bed. The inkjet array in the print carriage then sweeps over the print bed, laying down two agents—a fusing agent, printed where the powder will fuse together, and a detailing agent that is used to reduce fusing at the part boundary to achieve greater detail. After the agents are applied, the print bed is exposed to a fusing energy from infrared lamps. This process of additive manufacturing continues layer by layer until the build is complete.

When the build finishes, the entire powder bed with the encapsulated parts is moved to a processing station where a majority of the loose powder is removed by an integrated vacuum. We then bead blast parts to remove any of the remaining residual powder before ultimately reaching the finishing department where they are dyed black to improve cosmetic appearance. This is our entire additive manufacturing service process.

Our 3D printing services deliver a dense PA 12 nylon plastic part that competes in strength, quality, and price with traditional forms of plastics manufacturing. MJF is a great alternative to injection molding for low to mid quantity parts manufacturing. MJF part quality is similar to injection molding, without the tooling cost.

If you are looking for more than what a desktop 3D printer can provide Baked 3D’s industrial additive manufacturing services or 3D printing services ensures accuracy and repeatability so you get highly precise parts—every time. At Baked 3D, additive manufacturing is designed for functional prototypes, complex designs, and production components in as fast as 1 day.

3D Printers

Baked3D was one of the very first commercial printing services to purchase and receive HP’s new Multi-Jet Fusion(MJF) 3D Printers. MJF printing prints parts faster, higher resolution, and stronger than FDM using dense PA 12 nylon plastic.

Customer Service

Since we do not staff any Salesmen, you will always be speaking with an actual 3D Print technician when working with Baked3D. We understand what is needed to deliver your prints and meet all specifications of your project. We pride ourselves on getting the job done right, and done well.

Other Services

Baked3D offers many other services to help bring your ideas from dream, to prototype, to reality.

3D Scanning

With our Einscan SP 3d scanner we can scan objects (12″x12″x12″) to create a fully functional STL file, which can be printed or used as a reference for 3d modeling.

Rapid Prototyping

This is where it all comes together! We can design, scan, model and assemble prototypes of all kinds.

Additive Manufacturing

Using Additive Manufacturing is one of the most cost effective services for prototyping and small run products. Tooling fees alone can run tens of thousands of dollars with traditional manufacturing. Our 3D printing service allows you to perfect your prototype with fully functional parts, or manufacture on demand parts with out worrying about minimum orders, tooling, etc.

Traditional Manufacturing

We also offer a wide range of traditional manufacturing – CNC, Injection Molding, Composites, and more. Feel free to reach out to us with any manufacturing needs.

Small Run Manufacturing / 3D Printing Service

HP’s 4210 MJF printer creates strong, high resolution, retail ready parts.  Bulk discounts available.  3D Print Manufacturing Service can save thousands over traditional injection molding.

CAD Services & 3D Models

Baked3d has experience engineering products for a diverse range of industries.

We can design parts to be manufactured with any process, 3d printing, sheet metal, CNC or laser cutting, and more!
